1/4 cup of sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground ginger

1/4 tsp ground cloves

2 eggs

1 can pumpkin

1 can evaporated milk

1 9 inch deep dish pie shell

Preheat oven to 425*

Mix dry ingredients in a small bowl

In large bowl mix eggs and pumpkin and add dry ingredients. Gradually add evaporated milk. Fill pie shell and bake for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350* and bake 40-50 minutes until toothpick in center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.

Hint: for stability, bake pie on a cookie sheet.
